Rugby Sevens in Crawley
We're launching our 7s Rugby programme in 2027, giving players the opportunity to enjoy the faster side of rugby while representing St Francis RFC and the Mad Monks.
Whether you're an experienced 7s player, a 15-a-side player looking for a new challenge, or someone wanting to experience rugby in a more open and fast-paced format, you'll be welcomed from day one.
Meet the Mad Monks
Our 7s team will compete under the Mad Monks name, continuing a proud identity that's becoming synonymous with enjoyable, competitive rugby.
We're also keen to help grow the women's game.
If you're interested in entering a Women's 7s team under the Mad Monks banner, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're an established squad looking for a club to represent or a new group of players wanting to get started, we're happy to support you.
No Egos, All Amigos
Whether you're looking to stay fit over the summer, enjoy festival rugby with friends or compete against some of the best teams in the region, our programme will offer something for everyone.
We'll be running a socially competitive squad that enjoys winning but never loses sight of why we play, to have fun together.
For players looking to compete at a higher level, we're also proud to have a partnership with the Matt Ratana Foundation, providing opportunities to play more competitive rugby alongside your involvement with St Francis RFC.
